Consistency: Why Do You Start Fast and Burn Out ?
Jump-start.
Kick-start.
21 days to lean.
28 days to shredded.
Abs in 7 minutes per day.
Let me start out by saying I'm ALL ABOUT TRANSFORMATION.
But I also know that any of the above quick fixes won't work.
Sure, they "work" in the short-term.
And that's great in itself.
But then what?
What do you do AFTER the kick-start?
You need a plan right?
That's part of it.
But even more important is finding your way once the initial burst of excitement wears off.
And it will.
When the results slow down.
Then you hit your first plateau.
What then?
How will you keep at it?
Maybe it's just you. You'll never be as motivated as those fitness types.
You're just not cut out for it.
It's too hard. You're too busy.
You worked a long day.
Barely ate today.
Slept like crap last night.
What's one missed workout right?
BULLSHIT!
You can do anything that another man can do.
Maybe not lift the same weight. Or do the same workouts.
But you CAN do A WORKOUT instead of skipping it.
You have more inside you. WAY more.
It's at this point where you need something to keep you moving in the right direction.
You can get sidetracked easily, but you have to keep moving forward.
And what does this mean?
You find a reason to train.
What pushes you to get out of bed?
To try and get better in your life.
Is it your kids? To see them grow up and be a role model for them?
Or to be strong and healthy to even live long enough to see them grow up.
Maybe it's your parents who died young because they didn't take care of themselves..
How about you want to prove everyone wrong? That's a powerful motivator when you are feeling stuck/tired/bored etc..
Or you had a wife who cheated on you and now you're single again. Back on the dating scene.
And you know you need to feel better/look better to attract the right woman. You need the energy to keep up and show that you are STILL the man.
How about being MORE man than you ever were.
Only you can truly find this reason.
Having a partner to train with can help.
Or a forum online to check in with and stay accountable.
Or a coach who can guide you and keep you from falling off the track.
We all fall off. But how long do you stay off?
Consistency is getting back on as quick as possible.
It's not perfection every single day.
Remember that.
No one can keep up with that.
No matter what you may think or read about on social media.
We all have weakness. But how long do you stay down?
How long does it take for you to fight back?
And BREAK through the plateau.
I want to see you break through.
More than anything.
