New Year, New You?
You aren't like the majority of people out there. You don't follow the herd. You make a path where there was none.
So while everyone else is saying "New Year, New Me!" you will be saying I'm already working on that, because you don't need to wait for an arbitrary date to start becoming the best you can be.
You don't need a New Year to begin a workout program. Or to jack up your stale workouts or lack of workouts.
You are starting today.
You don't need to find a new diet for the new year, only to quit it in 3 weeks.
So here's what you're going to do.
Cut out all refined carbs. This includes breads, crackers, pasta, bagels, rice, oatmeal, cereals. What will you eat instead? You will eat eggs, meat, seafood, veggies, fruits and sweet potatoes/yams, nuts, seeds.
You will cut out all drinks except green tea, black coffee and water. (black tea is acceptable but no added sugar or milk)
You will walk for 1 hour every single day. No exceptions. Indoors, outside, on the moon. It doesn't matter where. Just 1 hour every day.
You will do some resistance training with weights 3 days per week. What program? It doesn't matter. Just pick one that resonates with you and that gets you excited. Stick to it.
That's your plan. Not a new year's resolution- gag. Your new life plan, and it starts today.
Do this and you will see tremendous changes take place in your body and mind.
Go.
