One and Done

Have you ever read an article that was supposed to help you in some key area but there was just too much information? You end up overwhelmed and you don't take any action.

This has happened to me plenty of times. I find 1-2 tips/ideas is enough. Read it. Absorb the information. Take action on it.

So this is what I am going to do. I'm starting a series called "One and Done". In each post I will share 1 idea that will help you immediately. If you put it into action, of course.

Let's get right to it.

Today's One and Done is ---- SILENCE.

Find a quiet place. Go for 5-10 minutes. (you can go longer if you want) But at least 5. No tv. No computer, no phone, no music, no talking, no reading, no looking at billboards. You don't have to meditate or focus on deep breathing (although I encourage both).

Every day just sit in silence. Let your thoughts go. They come, they go. Like clouds. None are more important than the others for 5-10 minutes.

How will this help you?

I'm sure you can come up with a few answers. Less stress, less mental chatter. Slow down and allow yourself to breathe and stop the hectic modern pace we all have nowadays.

One and done. Simple enough. Now do it.
