Purpose and Priority for Strength and Health

I love learning.

From a young age, I always had a sense of curiosity about the world around me.

My dad used to get annoyed by all my questions. But why? How? What does that MEAN?

If you're a parent, I'm sure you can relate.

What's my point? I'm getting to that, calm down! ;)

Yesterday I wrote a post on my medium.com blog called "Tough Love for your Priorities".

This morning I'm reading this book called "The One Thing" by Gary Keller with Jay Papasan and the chapter I open to is called "Live Your Priority".

What do you call that, synchronicity? Serendipity?

Either way, it made me smile.

What I read made me stop and read it again. It's what inspired me to write this post today as I had no plans on putting out more content today here.

The beginning of this chapter "Live your priority" were about the word PRIORITY itself.

How the word was singular and changed in the 20th century to "PRIORITIES".

When the word was created in the 14th century it meant "first" - something that mattered the MOST.

Every day is an opportunity to learn and grow.

This made me realize that a shift was required in my own mind.

Yes, it's a subtle difference and may seem insignificant but it struck a chord within me.

Focus.

I can improve. Focus more.

Priority, not priorities.

Simple yet profound.
