What if?
One question that has the power to amp me up is "What if?"
Examples-
What if I squat every single day?
What if I do hill sprints 3 times per week.. how about 5?
What if I do high rep band pull-aparts every night after dinner?
What if I walk the stairway at work every lunch break?
What if I go 30 days without coffee?
What if I eliminate all food and drinks besides meat, veggies, fruit and water for 31 days?
What if I can squat double bodyweight?
What if I can do 20 pullups? With additional weight?
What if I can bench 3 plates after two shoulder injuries?
What if I can deadlift 5 plates after a back injury?
What if I hike with a weighted backpack every morning and evening?
What if I eat only steak and eggs for a month or two?
What if I do only isometric exercise for 21 days?
What if I hang from the monkey bars every single day for 2-3 minutes..
You get the idea.
There is something about the process of wondering if I can achieve something that seems far-out there.. a big challenge..
An adventure.. an experiment.. to find out..
Maybe you have these thoughts..
you wonder about some big number or physical feat.. maybe it's an obstacle course race or some other competition.
It seems far out of reach at the moment.. maybe you won't make it..
But that little possibility ignites a fire.
And you can ride that passion all the way to an achievement that may surprise you.
Even if you don't meet the goal perse.. just to push yourself that far.. way outside your comfort zone.
You may find a level within yourself that you never knew was there.. or maybe you did, but you never pushed that hard to access it.
It's there waiting to be tapped. Is today the day you begin that journey?
What if...
