I was up late reading this new book- Can't Hurt Me by David Goggins. If you only read one book this year, this should be the one.
So this morning when the alarm went off I was not in a pleasant mood..
But I got up anyway and moaned and groaned my way outside to walk, run and hit my outdoor workout.
This is not about me though.
As I walked, I recorded a video to share to social media.
In the video I put out a challenge.
To change your life starting today.
Not waiting for the New Year- new you BS.
You DO NOT need a specific day on the calendar to make changes.
We all know this logically but every year I hear about new year's resolutions and how people never achieve them.
Why?
There's plenty of reasons but here are the two essentials you need:
1- A HUGE GOAL that excites you, lights a fire inside you and scares you
2- Daily action steps to help you achieve the HUGE GOAL
So simple, a caveman can do it right?
You know simple is the way to go but we like to complicate things.
Today so many folks will be complicating things to try and make the holiday "perfect" when there is NO SUCH THING
AND
trying to make things perfect stresses you and everyone around you out for NO GOOD REASON.
Ok, I'm done shouting. Feel better now.
Speaking of which, when is the last time you got outside and just let it rip- a big roaring HOWL into the sky?
That shit feels goooooood.
If only you could have seen me this morning in the park.. no one around.. a big roar I let out.. don't keep that shit inside. Let it out!

Ah yes, new years resolutions.
Forget about them!
Start today
Get out pen and paper and write down a huge goal that would transform your life
Then write down the daily action steps to achieve it
Keep it simple
Don't ask anyone for their opinion
Be great
