Perfect Lives on Social Media are NOT REAL

If you're on social media I'm sure you have friends/family/high school acquaintances who regularly post about their AMAAAAZZINNNGG PERFECT BLESSED Lives..

And you know what? It's not real.

That's just a tiny segment of their lives. A speck. One drop of water in the ocean.

We all know this, but I think we overlook it and start to compare. We compare our lives to theirs. What is missing in our life. How someone else has the best luck or seems to get all the breaks.

Not many people share the mistakes. The down moments. How they get frustrated and how they mess up. (not the same as those people who always complain on social media- that's the worst!)

So keep that in mind when you go on facebook or instagram or any new social media sites. No one has a perfect life.

 

Strive for IMPROVEMENT not Perfection

When it comes to changing your life, imperfect action is better than no action. The mindset of "Once I get my life in order, I can make this change.." will never get you to your goals.

No matter what your goals are, you need to start right away taking steps towards them. Every second you overthink and over-analyze is a second wasted.

Procrastination usually comes from fear. The letters FEAR have been said to mean "false evidence appearing real".

Don't let fear stop you. Any fear, no matter how big or small.

You don't need anything to start.

Changing your life requires nothing fancy. No special equipment. You don't need any more books or lessons.

Sure, there are some fitness programs that are better suited for certain goals than others, but doing nothing is sure to get you NOWHERE.

So get started today. Now.
