Are You Strong Enough?

I had one of those pools that come in a box.

My daughter wanted a pool and my roommate decided to buy one.

Since I was the man of the house, I had to put it together.

I was not excited about that, but first I had to get the heavy box to the backyard by myself.

There was only one way to do it; push it like a prowler sled.

It felt good to move that sucker by myself, after fighting with it for a bit.

At that moment I was glad I had trained for strength.

Have you ever had a moment where you were NOT strong enough?

That's a bad feeling.

You never want to be a man who can't rise to the physical challenge, whatever it is.

But here's the thing.. only you get to decide if YOU are STRONG ENOUGH.

What are your standards for strength?

Do you have any?

How about goals in the gym... have you set any lately?

Are you getting stronger OR weaker? There is NO maintaining.

As I did my deadlifts today I started to think about how much weight I want to lift.

My short-term and long-term goals for the deadlift.

It got me curious about you.. and how the mind can be our worst enemy or our best ally.

We get to choose.

Do we believe we are capable of MORE?

Why aren't we achieving it ?

Does our mindset limit us?

Maybe it's time to address that and take action to get our minds RIGHT.

One of my favorite parts about being a coach is pushing your boundaries. Getting YOU outside your comfort zone.

Believing in you when you don't believe in yourself.

Showing you that you ARE capable of MUCH MORE than you realize.

Opening that door for me is SUPER gratifying.

Now let me ask you this....

are YOU holding yourself  back?

Why are you not reaching your potential?

Get your mind right.

Start to believe in yourself.

Take action every day even if you don't feel like it. ESPECIALLY if you don't feel like it.

That discipline builds motivation. It's not the other way around.

Action comes FIRST.

Get after it RIGHT NOW.

Need help setting some new goals?

You need to be stretching beyond your comfort zone.

It's time to get stronger. Set some BIG goals and do what you are truly capable of.

The time is NOW. Do not wait another day. Tomorrow is NEVER guaranteed.
