I'm not talking about the kind you buy in bottles or cans.

I'm talking about six-pack ABS.

So what's the deal with a six-pack?

You might have some idea of what you want to look like on the beach with your shirt off.

Nothing wrong with that.

When you look good, usually you feel good too.

But, that's not the end goal.

You want energy to run around with the kids or play a pickup game of basketball

The amount of work you have to put in to get that six-pack is often more than people realize.

And is it worth it?

Only you can decide.

That's why I say you have to be real with yourself and your goals.

What is driving you to push your body to endure the strain of working out?

Is it to stay fit for your family?

Avoid getting frail and sickly?

Or do you want to feel stronger so you walk taller and can handle any storm life throws at you?

that's for you to decide.

From my experience when someone has a superficial goal like get a six-pack, that goal is not strong enough to get them through the tough times.

The tough times are inevitable.

You need a strong driving force behind you to persevere when the shit hits the fan.

Find that driving force and you will conquer anything you set your mind to.
