Back to my original thought- stronger every day.
What does that mean?
Not sure where I first heard it, but I really liked it.
I like to think of each day in terms of doing something to get stronger.
Lifting weights, of course. Also eating for strength. Reading good books, hiking, resting enough, drinking water..
Also getting stronger every day in my creativity, pursuing my goals, passions, interests.. how they make me more whole..
Getting quiet, going into the woods... meditating.
Writing in the way I choose is right. Not following the rules.
For too long, I followed rules that made no sense to my intuition.
I've always thought of myself as a rebel but still found it difficult to break free of some of the rules that someone else designed. Rules that don't speak to me..
No, I'm not talking about stop signs or not smoking in restaurant- kind of rules..
I'm talking about the rules of what you can do with your life. How can I lift in the gym? How should I lift?
What diet should I follow?
How should I build my business?
What kind of blog post should I write?
On and on it goes.. I'm sure you have rules you follow that you may wonder about.. why do we do this?
Do you have to train Monday/Weds./Friday?
Do you have to go to the gym right after work?
Must you eat chicken breasts and broccoli to be "lean" and "healthy"?
Stronger every day is about being you. Truly 100% following your gut, your heart, your intuition and going for it. NO MATTER WHAT anyone says or thinks about it.
This is for me as much as it is for you.
I NEED the reminder.
Which is why I decided to write today.
I'm going by my gut.
Writing without a plan.
No clear topic with "the top 10 things to.."
No headline that will encourage clicks around the interwebs.
From now on I am trusting my inner power.
That energy that is connected to something beyond the rules created for someone else.
NOT ME. NOt you? I have a feeling you know what I mean.
You walk to the sound of your own drum...
Stronger every day means tuning IN to this sound.
Taking time each day to listen and hear it all the way through to the bare-bones.
AND then
take action on it.
When you want to change your training routine for some reason, not just because you think another program is always better and you hop from routine to routine.. but because you feel strongly about it.. it speaks to you..
GO FOR IT!
Dive in.
I keep getting pulled into the "RUSSIAN BEAR PROGRAM"- something about it speaks to me and I feel strongly that I need to do it.
So I am going to do it.
That's it.
It's a great feeling to know you have self-trust.
You can tap into a different level of "knowing".. where it's not just logic and rational thinking.. (nothing wrong with those either)
but where you can go to another level and get into the zone.. the flow.. and ride it.
Stronger every day.

It could be anything.
The most important part of this idea is YOU get to define what STRONGER every day means for yourself.
It may not come right away.
Especially if you don't allow yourself time to get in touch with your intuition.. but keep paying attention and you will have a breakthrough.
