I bet you've had a friend tell you they went on some 'magical diet' that helped them lose 20+ pounds.
We've all heard these stories.
Years ago, I would get annoyed and ask a ton of questions.
Now that I'm older and wiser (haha) I like to nod and stay quiet.
Here's the thing with fad diets.... they don't last.
The results achieved RARELY ever last, and the diet is not sustainable.
ANY diet works short-term.
How?
By reducing calories.
All of them do it, just in different ways.
Instead of trying the latest fad diet, just stick to a solid nutrition plan that includes plenty of protein and whole foods and minimal junk food/booze, reduce your calories slightly less than needed to maintain your weight and you will lose fat.
Save yourself the time and effort on trying out some new fad diet.
Stick to the tried and true principles that have worked forever and will continue to work as long as we humans inhabit this earth.
