The path of strength


Are you on THE PATH?

That question can have various meanings, but here I mean the path of strength.

Your TRUE path, whatever it is.

No matter what the specifics are on your life journey, one essential is strength.

Go figure, I’m writing about the importance of strength on a website called Strength Essentials.

I’m not one for beating around the bush. Or THE PATH in this case.

Without getting into all the nuances of all the different kinds of STRENGTH, let’s keep it simple.

The path of strength is your true path. Where you belong. Doing the work that brings you a sense of fulfillment and achievement.

Being strong in all areas of life, whether that means moving a house full of furniture or dealing with all the day to day stress that life will throw at you.

Your path is unique to your own personal mission.

A lot of us don’t know what that mission is and we wander aimlessly through life.

Our educational system does nothing to help us find our true calling.

We are taught to become cogs in the machine.

Get a degree. Find a “good job”. Pay our bills and live a “normal” life.

What if your path is something totally different?

You are on your own.

In a way this is a blessing in disguise. Doing it alone will give you great opportunities for lessons and exponential growth. IF you choose to accept it.

There’s no clear-cut plan for you to follow because you are on a brand-new path. No one else can see it but you.

This is exciting and also scary, at the same time.

No matter where you are right now, if you are not on the path, you will feel it. If you are not following the call, whatever it is, you will always feel a little bit OFF.

Like you have a purpose but you aren’t quite living up to it yet..

Get on the path!

The path of strength that lifts you up and allows you to help lift others up.

It’s strength in body AND mind.

Doing whatever needs to be done, even if you don’t feel like it.

Overcoming obstacles.

Challenging yourself daily to become more resilient and improve in the areas you deem important.

The path calls you.

Have you heard it? Are you listening?

Will you follow the call?

Or will you stay where you are.. comfortable.. unfulfilled.. dreaming of something more.. feeling stuck, lost, out of touch?

It all comes back to you.

Your choice.

Your call.

Go after it, or live your life wondering… WHAT IF?…
