We’ve had a lot of rain here in WNY in the past month.

It’s grey, wet, cold, dreary.. not conducive to outdoor activities.

The weather, like much of life, is out of our control.

Of course we know this logically.

But how many of us complain about it?

Every one of us has bitched and moaned about weather or something out of our control at some point.

We are all human with flaws, weakness and imperfections,

So what CAN we DO?

All we have control over is our mind.

Our response to the world around, and inside us

Most of us know this. Logically, it makes sense.

But why is it that so many of us struggle with this simple fact of life?

Like achieving your fitness or financial goals, if it was easy, everyone would do it.

Simple, but not easy.

In your workouts you can control your effort, your determination and your tolerance to pain.

Your energy and strength are not under your control.

They come and go.

You can take productive steps to optimize both your strength and energy, but you can’t guarantee that either will be 100% on any given day.
